MIG Eyewear teams up with Taylor-West Opticians to showcase LGR

In July, MIG Eyewear was invited to London to co-host an event with Taylor-West Opticians in Battersea to showcase Italian eyewear brand L.G.R and their stunning collection of handmade glasses and sunglasses.
The event, which took place on the 16th of July, just so happened to coincide with the local annual Northcote Road Summer Festival, which saw the neighbourhood flooded with people out to enjoy some delicious street food and a wide range of market stalls. Widely regarded as the event of the summer in South West London, it was also the Wimbledon Men’s Final in the afternoon and tennis fans could watch the match on a specially erected big screen. Taylor-West is a stylish boutique optical practice with branches in London, Brighton, and Hove. The Battersea branch wanted to host a summer-themed event over the festival period and believed the L.G.R brand would be the perfect fit due to its extensive sunglass range and prominent product placement in hit television shows like Netflix’s ‘Emily in Paris’ and ‘The Sandman’. Their optical models also appeared in the recent Marvel movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
We were thrilled Taylor-West asked MIG Eyewear to represent L.G.R and showcase a selection of luxury handmade pieces from the Italian-based artisan eyewear manufacturer. Throughout the day, we played summer dance music in the practice, accompanied by great conversations with customers over cocktails. It was such a vibrant atmosphere, and everyone had a great time. Thank you so much to the wonderful people at Taylor-West Opticians in Battersea for inviting us to their event.
In other news, we hosted another ‘London i’ event on the 11th and 12th of September in Shoreditch. It follows the success of a similar small and inclusive trade show we held back in February. We’re always down for an opportunity to celebrate and showcase the world’s finest and most luxurious eyewear brands, including Chrome Hearts, John Dalia and L.G.R.
